1. Ho Chi Minh Museum.

        Ho Chi Minh Museum was inaugurated on May 19, 1990, right on the centennial birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, a Great Man of the 20th century, the celebrity who dedicated all his life and work for the cause of librating the nation, society and mankind.

        Arriving at the Museum, you can see with your own eyes the objects from his time when he was born until when he passed away. These objects reflect the life and work of Ho Chi Minh as well as the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese nation through stages of development of history.

2. Vietnam Fine - Arts Museum.

        The Museum began to receive visitors as from June 24, 1996. Arriving here, you will witness the process of Vietnamese art development ranging from architecture to scripture, painting, fine arts, etc. Through over a dozen thousand of works of art. In there, a large number of originals, restored exhibits, reproductions, pictures of great value, from traditional fine-arts during primeval time until modem time such as stone axe-heads, stone statues, stone jewelry, ceramic and chinaware, silk wears, relief’s, wooden statues, silk paintings, lacquer paintings, Dong Ho woodblock prints, especially a collection of ethnic groups in Vietnam.

3. Vietnam Ethnography Museum.

        Began to receive visitors as from 1997, with more than 25,000 exhibits have been collected and preserved so far, in this museum, you can see more clearly images of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. A good many exhibits, e.g. costumes, production tools, life, jewelry and so on of different ethnic groups are magnificently on display. Also, several full-scale houses of some ethnic groups were built there which attract so much attention from visitors.

4. Vietnam Military History Museum.

- Address: 30 Dien Bien Phu, Hanoi
- Open from Tuesday to Sunday every week

        Vietnam Military History Museum lies along Dien Bien Phu Road on a repaired place 10,000 square meters in area of the former barrack of the French expeditionary army; display area is 2,000 square meters, including 30 rooms; began to be on show as from December 22, 1959. The museum displays the exhibits and presents the process of coming into being and maturing of Vietnamese armed forces through stages of history. The exhibits on display recreate the fighting tradition of the previous times with rudimentary weapons of the pre-uprising period, weapons, mock-ups, maps, etc. of great battles; viz. Dien Bien Phu, Ho Chi Minh campaigns, debris and ruins of enemy aircraft shot down... are on display here.

5. Vietnam Women’s Museum.

        Vietnam Women’s Museum was inaugurated on the 65th anniversary of Vietnam women on December 20, 1995. This is the greatest venue of history, culture and art of Vietnamese women and records the monumental contributions, sacrifices of Vietnamese women during the cause for national salvation and building the country. Arriving here, the four sections will come into visitors’ view with exhibits about the “Vietnamese mothers” in the national community, during the struggle for building and safeguarding the country, the foundation and development of Vietnam Women’s Union, and also the traditional costumes of the ethnic groups of Vietnam.

6. Vietnam History Museum.

        Lying close to Hanoi’s Opera House, Vietnam History Museum is the place to display and preserve a large number of valuable objects from different periods of Vietnam’s history, from Stone Age until the present day. The object here represents the process of development of history and culture of different regions within the territory of Vietnam, the long-standing struggle of the Vietnamese nation throughout the course of history for the building and safeguarding the country.

7. Vietnam Revolutionary Museum.

- Address: 25 Ton Dan, Hoan Kiem. Hanoi
- Open from Tuesday to Sunday every week
- AM: 8h-11h
- PM : 1h30 – 4h30

        Inaugurated in August 1959, this museum now boasts 30 exhibition rooms with over 4 dozen thousand objects generally presenting the land and people of Vietnam, the patriotic movement of the Vietnamese nation before and after the foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the cause for building and safeguarding the country after 1975. Also, on arriving here, you can learn about the modern history of the Vietnamese nation through 60,000 objects, materials on show and being preserved on the premises.
